The Central Museum also known as Indore Museum is one of the interesting city buildings. Among other fine artifacts, it houses exquisitely-carved pre-medieval and medieval Hindu and Jain sculptures of Madhya Pradesh, from 5000 BC to 12th century AD. Built in 1929, the museum houses provides a deep knowledge about the culture and history of the warm and friendly people of Indore

The traditional culture of the place is immense and this is exactly what has been glorified in the museum which give in for antique historical stuffs like the coins, figures, armors and the sculptures which are displayed in numbers here.

Accessible from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. a day, the Indore Museum serves a treat to the history buffs and the explorers who seek to get deeper into the roots of Madhya Pradesh.

The Bachelor of Arts students of Radiant Institute of Management and Science visited the museum on 6 November, 2021. Museum in charge MR. Ashutosh attended the students and gave various information about artifacts , history, and historical culture , that visit was very knowledgeable for students as per their academic view point because most of the students of RIMS are preparing for the UPSC and MPPSC.
